Nasal cavity samples are taken out of representative bronze sculptures in public space at different places the artist has travelled since the pandemic in 2020. Extending the idea of a testing swab and contradicting the small test sticks, unusual large extensions are built by the artist to reach out for the noses to test, while they are particularly chosen to be out of reach. This out of reach is used by the artist as a metaphor trying to speak about the wish to test the present in its complex daily relations towards history itself by clear scientific means.
